Created in 2012, this solo presents the performer as a medium between the audience and dark manifestations that they could not perceive by themselves. Inspired by the Log Lady character of David Lynch’s TV series Twin Peaks, Lefeuvre impersonates this modern oracle, battling with his own obsessions and the expectations of the public, that finally will make him enter a trance during which the forces surrounding him seem to twist his body until the breaking point.
Samuel has worked with Alain Platel, Peeping Tom and Boris Charmatz, among others. From 2007, he created several performances with the musician Raphaëlle Latini, as part of the groupe ENTORSE collective. Since 2012, he collaborates with choreographer Florencia Demestri. Together they create hybrid choreographic works with a focus on bending the audience’s perception of reality. Through the use of disruptive narrative and intense, twisted physicality, they invite the spectator to give in to a multiple and intuitive interpretation of the occurring events, favouring sensations over meaning.
