Pelat is silence, expectation, strength, tension, a magic and spontaneous participation, it is body poetry. Pelat is innovation, movement, action. Pelat is a risky, honest, different and unique proposal. An original performance that mixes dance, theatre and circus. A creation based on the study of the body, movement, traditions, handcrafted work and human behaviour. Pelat is a proposal that erases the boundaries between dance, circus, theatre and performance; between audience and show. A natural review of handcrafted techniques and own memories. A changing and unique sample as a result of the interaction with the audience.
Connected to visual arts, dance and circus, Joan Català started his professional career with the companies Daraomai, Circus Klezmer, Los 2Play, Cia. Déménagement-Anges Margarit.
